Dolly Parton Sings and Promotes Satanic Led Zeppelin

Please understand that I don't condemn anyone, for the Bible condemns all of us as guilty, dirty, rotten, hell-deserving sinners. My salvation solely rests in Christ's righteousness, because of the precious blood that He gave for our sins. My intention is not to be unkind; but rather, to expose Satanism in the music industry and negative influence which Dolly Parton has on today's youth.

Dolly Parton released an album in 2002 titled, HALOS AND HORNS, on which she sings Led Zeppelin's song STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. In an interview by Rick Clark, Dolly Parton refers to Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven as a “spiritual” song...

RICK CLARK: "When I first heard that you were going to do “Stairway to Heaven,” I thought that was an audacious choice. But when I sang through the melody in my head before I came here, I could hear you singing it."

DOLLY PARTON: "I love that song, and I always thought it sounded like a spiritual song. Robert Plant said he had always thought of it as a spiritual song and was thrilled that I had put the choir on it, 'cause he had always heard it like that. I believe a good song can be done any way if you really mean it from the heart. Everybody's been trying to get a copy of my version of this song. They've been offering everybody money to bootleg it. Rock stations have been calling us, and country stations just out of curiosity. I'm sure some of them think it's a big joke. I'm sure that some of them are going to want to crucify me, and maybe they will. But in all sincerity, I did it because I love the song."

Well Dolly, you're correct in thinking Stairway to Heaven is a spiritual song, but it's of the spirit of Satan, not God. Stairway to Heaven is Satanic to the core. Music is one of the most powerful mediums through which Satan works. John Denver said, "Music is more powerful than Christianity."

Certainly, many believers love the world's music; but we must never attempt to justify it. There's a big difference between a believer who struggles with Rock music, verses someone who tries to say that there's nothing wrong with Rock music. 1st John 2:17 tells us that this world will one day pass away and everything in it (2nd Peter 3:10).

Led Zeppelin is satanic to the core. The band introduced personal occult symbols on one of their albums. Guitarist Jimmy Page of Zeppelin is a devout follower of Satanist, Aleister Crowley, who proclaimed himself as "The Beast 666." Aleister Crowley was also a 33rd and 97th Degree Freemason and is recognized as the master Satanist of the 20th century. In 1971, guitarist Jimmy Page bought Crowley’s Boleskine House on the shore of Loch Ness where Crowley practiced his hellish, satanic sex-magick rituals, including human sacrifices.

Guitarist Jimmy Page actually performed Crowley magical rituals during their concerts. Their song "Stairway to Heaven" carries the reference "May Queen," which is the name of a hideous poem by Crowley. Page had inscribed in the vinyl of their album Led Zeppelin III, Crowley's famous "Do what thou wilt. So mete it Be.’ Page and Robert Plant claim some of Zeppelins' songs came via occultic "automatic handwriting," including their popular "Stairway to Heaven." Stephen Davis in the Hammer of the Gods, details the occult inspiration of "Stairway to Heaven."

". . . Robert described the 'automatic' nature of the lyric: 'I was just sitting there with Pagey in front of a fire at Headley Grange. Pagey had written the chords and played them for me. I was holding a paper and pencil, and for some reason, I was in a very bad mood. Then all of a sudden my hand was writing out words. 'There's a lady who's sure, all that glitters is gold, and she's buying a stairway to heaven.' I just sat there and looked at the words and then I almost leaped out of my seat.'" (Stephen Davis, Hammer of the Gods, p. 164)

"He [Robert Plant] often remarked that he could feel his pen being pushed by some higher authority." (Stephen Davis, Hammer of the Gods, p. 262)

There is no doubt to the occult influence of Led Zeppelin. For a very through, extensively documented history of Zeppelin’s occult inspiration read the 648 page book titled, Fallen Angel: The Untold Story of Jimmy Page and Led Zeppelin by Thomas Friend.

Zeppelin’s "personal symbols" were etched in occult images. For instance, "Zoso" was Jimmy Page’s personal symbol and according to Stephen Davis in The Hammer of the Gods (p. 253), it is a "stylized 666". To further document Page’s "Zoso" emblem’s connection to Satanist Crowley and the number 666, the following page is from Crowley’s book The Equinox of the Gods (p. 253):

JIMMY PAGE'S "ZOSO" MATCHES CROWLEY'S 666

The above is from Aliester Crowley’s
book The Equinox of the Gods (p. 253):
Notice the first statement — "So is O" matches Page's "Zoso".
and Now 666 = My Name, = The number of the Beast.

Dolly Parton and Satanism

Photo to left: Dolly Parton's album cover, HALOS AND HORNS. Note that I blocked out her open blouse, which was indecent.

Dolly says about her album, HALOS AND HORNS...

"I just felt real inspired, and this idea started rolling out and I wrote “Halos and Horns” in no time. I have very strong feelings about that song. It's a real solid country, bluegrass thing — one of those hard-singing songs. I really like it.  This album is really just life stories. It goes from heartache to heaven. There are some gospel things — like “Hello God” — to one that is talking about swimming naked in a pond. [Laughs] Spirituality to sexuality."

Spirituality to sexuality? It's all demonic! Parton is promoting Satanism by promoting Led Zeppelin. Parton's album title suggests that she has a dark side as well as a good side. The fact that she is laying down, with her blouse slightly open, is sexually suggestive. I'm not trying to be unkind, not at all; but God commands believers to expose those who publicly parade and promote wickedness (Psalm 94:16; Ephesians 5:11). I do not condemn Dolly Parton, for we are ALL hell-deserving sinners.

The issue is not about Dolly; but rather, about her suggestive album covers, the satanic music she promotes and the influence she has upon today's youth. Her album title, HALOS AND HORNS," and the inclusion of the song, STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN, is not by coincidence, it just shows the industry's allegiance to Satan.

Dolly Parton's Annual Gay and Lesbian Day

Dolly Parton sings Gospel and Christmas music, and also embraces the homosexual community...

Parton appears in gay publications, and her fans organize an annual gay and lesbian day at her amusement park, Dollywood, in her native east Tennessee. She said gay men in particular are drawn to her flamboyant appearance, highlighted by thick makeup, gaudy clothing and blonde wig.

Every preacher in America should preach uncompromisingly against the evils of the Country music industry. Country music itself is not bad; but the lyrics to many of the songs are just plain filthy and sexually-immoral (and might I add, completely retarded). I'm speaking about Country music in general here and not Miss Parton.

I'm not condemning anybody, God forbid. I'm just taking a Biblical stand for God against the sexually-suggestive, worldly and even satanic music which many professed Christian singers promote today. If someone lives in personal sin, that is no one's business to condemn but God; but when someone parades and publicly promotes wickedness, Christians are instructed to expose the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11).

The FALSE Gospel of Dolly Parton

In the same 2002 interview mentioned earlier, Dolly said concerning God...

"Everybody thinks of God as a different thing. To me, God is that greater, higher energy — that greater, wiser wisdom. It's that thing in all of us that we all have to draw from. I've always trusted God and trusted myself, which to me are intertwined. I'm a creative person, and what gifts I have come from that divine place that I try to tap into. So who have I got to be afraid of?"

God is not a "thing in all of us" Dolly. The only thing that we all have is a sinful nature. God is NOT in a person unless they have been born again (John 3:3). Jesus must be received (Revelation 3:20; John 1:12). God is NOT just some higher energy that we draw from.

Dolly further states, "...what gifts I have come from that divine place that I try to tap into..." What "divine place" is that Dolly? Try to tap into? Talk about New Age! Dolly Parton is teaching New Age, speaking of the "energy" within. The Word of God condemns New Age teaching. Anytime you hear someone talking about energy, power, or life's forces without mentioning Jesus Christ... you're talking to a New Ager. By the way, that "energy" Dolly speaks of is Satan (Ephesians 2:2).

Jesus Christ is Almighty God (John 1:1-3,14; John 10:33; Colossians 2:9; Philippians 2:6; Revelation 1:8—NOTE: All Scripture references are to the trustworthy King James Bible). God is a Person, Whom we can communicate with, not an energy force.

Notice that Parton said, "I've always trusted God AND TRUSTED MYSELF." Those are dangerous words Dolly. Jeremiah 17:5 states, "Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD." We should only trust upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dolly Parton has fallen into the same New Age heresy as Oprah Winfrey. Jesus Christ is God Almighty (Revelation 1:8), and the ONLY Way to Heaven (John 14:6). God loves sinners, but He hates sin with a passion and WILL punish those who die in their sins without Christ as Savior.

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." —2nd Thessalonians 1:8
